Sleep Ins 30 Day Returns
We offer a 30-day return period on full-priced items to ensure smooth and timely processing. Please read the guidelines below to see which option applies to your order.
Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date your parcel arrives to initiate a return on full-priced items.
Eligibility & Refund Options (full priced items)
We accept change of mind returns on eligible full-priced items within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and unwashed
- In the same condition you received it
- In its original packaging
- Not slept in
Refunds are processed once your return has been received and approved. Return postage is calculated by Australia Post according to the size and weight of your parcel. The prepaid label fee generated through our returns portal will be deducted from your refund.
Sale Items
Items purchased on sale are eligible for store credit only. Refunds are not offered for change of mind on discounted items.
Sale items must meet the same return conditions:
- Unused and unwashed
- In original packaging
- Not slept in

You will be guided through the steps to generate your prepaid return label and complete your return.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery to our warehouse.
Refund Process
Once your return has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
Faulty Process or Incorrect Item
We do our best to ensure your order arrives exactly as expected, but if something’s not right — whether it’s the wrong item or a manufacturing issue — we’ll make it right.
Please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing hello@sleepins.com.au. Once your return reaches us, we’ll carry out an inspection and aim to have everything resolved within two weeks.
If the product is found to have a genuine fault, you can choose either a replacement or a refund to your original payment method.
Please note: Claims for faulty items made more than three months after delivery won’t be eligible for return, as we’re unable to distinguish between manufacturing issues and normal wear and tear after this time.
What's Not Considered a Fault:
Some product variations are considered normal and not eligible for return under our faults policy:
Pilling: A natural result in some untreated fabrics, not a defect — and one of the reasons our bamboo bedding is free from harsh chemicals and nasties.
Discolouration: May result from body oils, skincare products, or detergents (containing brighteners or enzymes) which are too harsh for bamboo fabric.
Shrinkage: Our designs allow for approximately 5% shrinkage after the first few washes. Following the care guide will help maintain the fit. (Not Considered Manufacturing Defects)
