Sleep Ins 30‑Day Returns & Exchanges
Our returns period is 30 days to ensure smooth and timely processing of all returns. Please read the guidelines below to see which option applies to your order.
1. Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date your parcel arrives to start a return.
2. Eligibility & Refund Options
We offer returns for eligible change of mind purchases within 30 days of your order arriving, minus a flat $15 shipping fee, which covers the cost Sleep Ins incurred to send your order to you. For clarity, you will be refunded the cost of the item minus the $15 fee. The return cost is at the expense of the customer and can be organised through your local post office. If your item was purchased on sale, you are eligible for a store credit only. Refunds are not offered for change of mind on discounted items. Please notify us as soon as possible after receiving your order if you would like to initiate a return.
For a change of mind return, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and the bedding must not have been slept in.
Initiating a Return
To request a return, exchange, or store credit, please email us at hello@sleepins.com.au with your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return, and the reason for the return. We'll send you return instructions and the appropriate shipping address.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery to our warehouse.
Refund Process
Once we receive your returned product, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
3. Faulty or Incorrect Items
We do our best to ensure your order arrives exactly as expected, but if something’s not right — whether it’s the wrong item or a manufacturing issue — we’ll make it right.
Please notify us within 14 days of receiving your order by emailing hello@sleepins.com.au. Once your return reaches us, we’ll carry out an inspection and aim to have everything resolved within two weeks.
If the product is found to have a genuine fault, you can choose either a replacement or a refund to your original payment method.
Please note: Claims for faulty items made more than three months after delivery won’t be eligible for return, as we’re unable to distinguish between manufacturing issues and normal wear and tear after this time.
What’s Not Considered a Fault:
Some product variations are considered normal and not eligible for return under our faults policy:
Pilling: A natural result in some untreated fabrics, not a defect — and one of the reasons our bamboo bedding is free from harsh chemicals and nasties.
Discolouration: May result from body oils, skincare products, or detergents which are too harsh for bamboo fabric.
Shrinkage: Our designs allow for approximately 5% shrinkage after the first few washes. Following the care guide will help maintain the fit. (Not Considered Manufacturing Defects)
