When I think of coastal living, it’s more than just a design style. It’s a feeling. Calm, breezy, and connected to nature. Coogee Cove was all about capturing that feeling in a refined yet relaxed way. The client’s vision was for a modern beachside home with a refined palette and plenty of texture, and from the very beginning, that clear direction shaped every design choice.

Throughout the space, we layered tactile elements with clean lines. Calacatta stone added a cooling touch, elegant and soft with just the right amount of drama. Pale timbers and sandy-toned finishes kept everything grounded, while linen textures and subtle curves added a sense of ease. The home feels open, sun-washed, and completely at ease with its coastal setting, exactly what the clients had hoped for.

After moving home from overseas and completing a long build, I think it’s safe to say they’ve earned themselves a very dreamy Sleep In. My pick for this project is the Caramel Doona with the Caramel and White Stripe Sheet Set — or for something lighter, a touch of Oatmeal. The perfect finish to their laid-back coastal escape.
